It was December 19th, 2008 the last time the Toronto Raptors paid a visit to Oklahoma City.  The end result was a 91-83 loss, a game that at the time gave the Thunder just their 3rd win in twenty-seven tries and left Raptors fans truly shaking their heads. This time around Kevin Durant and the boys find themselves 11 games over .500 and comfortably in a playoff position in the incredibly difficult Western Conference.

To make things even more difficult for our beloved Raptors, superstar Chris Bosh did not travel with the team, meaning that he will not only not be available in tonight’s contest against the Thunder, but also in tomorrow’s game against the Rockets. To this point the Raptors have been 2-2 without their leader, and will need to grab at least one of these two road contests if they hope to still hold the 5th seed when Bosh returns.

I am hoping to report back to you after this game in a wonderful mood, which would be the result if both Canada and the Toronto Raptors won today. But I’m pretty sure Ryan Miller and Kevin Durant have other ideas.  Be sure to check back on Raptors Rapture for post-game analysis. Go Raps Go!

Tip off is at 7PM EST.
