Only one statement can be said about tonight’s game for the Raptors against the Sacramento Kings – MUST WIN! After a heart-breaking but expected loss to the Los Angeles Lakers last night, the Raptors are right back at it tonight against the Sacramento Kings.
Now only 1.5 games up on the 9th seeded Chicago Bulls, the Toronto Raptors cannot afford any losses against teams they are much better than on paper. It is because of this that both tonight’s contest against the Kings and the upcoming meeting with the Warriors are absolute must-wins for our beloved Raptors.
Like the Raptors, tonight’s match-up for the Kings is the second of a back-to-back having lost 88-81 to the Portland Trai Blazers on Tuesday night. Therefore there are no excuses, the Raptors need to come out with the same intensity they showed against the Lakers to end this slide and get themselves fighting for 5th in the East.
