Celtics at Knicks (Noon)

The Knicks tip-off their new season with aspirations to reach the Finals for the first time since the last lockout-shortened season. While the Celtics try to make one last glory run with Pierce/Allen/Garnett/Rondo and co.

Why You Should Watch:  It is just after brunch so this game is likely the most easy to sneak in. Also Ray Allen “Basketball Jesus” tweets

Miami at Dallas (2:30)

Instead of napping you can remind yourself how much you hate the Miami Heat.

Why You Should Watch:  The Mavs get their banner finally.

Chicago at Los Angeles Lakers (5:00)

The Lakers look to contend without Chris Paul while the Bulls start their title hopes.

Why You Should Watch:  Rose/Kobe will probably be bringing it for this Christmas Day showcase.

Orlando at Oklahoma City (8:00)

The first night game features the tip-off of the Magic’s bizarro season waiting for life without Dwight Howard and Durant and Westbrook look to take over the West.

Why You Should Watch:  After Christmas Supper entertainment

Clippers at Warriors (10:30)

Two words: Alley-oops
