Game Preview #35: Grizzlies

The Raptors had a solid Western Conference swing this week: clawing out a tough three point loss to the hot Houston Rockets and beating the league worst New Orleans Hornets on the tail end of a road-road back to back in what was hopefully a sign of a promising second half.

The Memphis Grizzlies come into the ACC coming off a win against the defending NBA Champions and are continuing their recent reputation as a dark horse contender in the Western Conference.

This match up also marks the return of the Naismith Rivalry that dates back to when the Grizzlies played back in Vancouver.

DeMar DeRozan and Linas Klezia both had solid months in February and will continue to be counted on to fill the offensive void Andrea Bargnani has left. After looking to return during the road trip, it is still unclear when Bargnani is planning on returning.

Klezia averaged 15.7 points in  February, while DeRozan averaged 22.8 points in the final five games of the month.
