The Raptors’ season, already topsy-turvy due to poor team play, injuries & the struggles of players like Bargnani, will soon be even more so. The starting Point Guard situation is poised to become a major issue. Kyle Lowry is already practicing, & will be returning from the injured list within a game or so. He’s not the kind of player who will be comfortable for very long coming off the bench, even though he knows that will be the case until he’s back in playing shape. Kyle previously wore out his welcome with 2 other NBA teams after complaining about his status & minutes. With Kyle in street clothes, Jose Calderon has led the Raps to their best results of the season. Dwane Casey has gone so far as to state publicly that Jose is the starter.

What would you do, Raps fans? I’ve tried to think of all the possibilities, including trades, which could alleviate the logjam or ameliorate bruised egos. Should you have an option I’ve missed, please offer it in the Comments section of this post. If I like your option, I’d add it to the Poll choices with an acknowledgement.
