Are the playoffs a realistic goal for the Raptors? A new POLL, & results of prior polls

8 wins in 9 tries has Rapture-ites in a gleeful tizzy. Have the Raptors really turned the corner, & will we see playoff games in Toronto for the first time in 5 seasons? Or is this current run of great play just a blip, & we are fated to return to mediocrity? Please vote.

The results of our “Who’s our starting Point Guard?” poll were very stark. The vast majority of votes were cast for either Jose keeps the job OR trade Jose now, while he’s hot. I think this result ties in nicely with our new poll question. If you think we have a serious shot at the playoffs, then Jose is The Man. If you think a playoff spot is out of reach, then Jose needs to be moved for (presumably) younger players to continue the rebuild.

The poll about whether Andrea would still be a Rap after February 21 produced a broad spectrum of opinions. The nuclear option a.k.a. Amnesty was popular, as was its polar opposite He’s here for a long time. A significant number of you would be quite happy to see him in another uniform via trade. In short, there was no consensus on this matter. That seems a fitting result, since we’re discussing perhaps the most perplexing & controversial player in Raptor history.
