NBA All-Star Weekend: Terrence Ross wins Slam Dunk Contest!

Terrence Ross, the Toronto Raptors precocious young swingman, was voted the winner of the 2013 NBA All-Star Slam Dunk Contest. In a thrilling finish, he defeated Jeremy Evans of the Utah Jazz. Both competitors overcame slow starts to earn their spots in the finals. Evans’ final pair of dunks were impressive, but the speed and smoothness of Ross clearly impressed the worldwide voters.

Here are Terrence’s imaginative dunks, for your viewing pleasure.

Whether this victory helps his career, or helps our team, cannot be known. Let’s enjoy the moment – Congratulations, Terrence.

What a great occasion for Terrance Ross, I was also pleased and impressed he pulled off a couple of Vince Carter’s former contest winning dunks although dunking over the kid for the last one added a new wrinkle that Vince did not, fun to watch

Hi Greg: I like the personality Terrence projects. He’s quietly confident in his abilities, but seems to have little or no ego. I’ll repeat what I’ve been saying to every trade proposal which includes this guy: NO!
