Terrence Ross surrenders Slam Dunk championship to John Wall

The NBA Slam Dunk competition goes through more changes than Clark Kent during a Metropolis crime spree. This year, Terrence Ross, the Toronto Raptor who was named Slam Dunk champion at last year’s All-Star weekend, lost his title via social media voting. John Wall, the Washington Wizards’ excellent point guard, was elected Dunker of the Night. TRoss had to be satisfied with being a member, along with Indiana’s Paul George and Wall, of Team East, which defeated their West counterparts (Portland’s Damian Lillard, Golden State’s Harrison Barnes, Sacramento’s Ben McLemore).

Even the assistance of “Raptors roving ambassador” Drake wasn’t enough to retain for Terrence to repeat. I hope TRoss doesn’t lose a moment of sleep worrying about this result.
