The Toronto Raptors are set to resume their NBA season on August 1st against the Los Angeles Lakers before heading into the 2020 playoffs where it is for sure to be a great postseason.

The Toronto Raptors are scheduled to play eight remaining games before the start of the 2020 playoffs, those eight games come against the Lakers, Heat, Magic, Celtics, Grizzlies, Bucks, 76ers, and the Nuggets.

After those eight games will be played the Raptors are headed to their seventh straight postseason where they are looking to repeat as champions.

But before all the games start, let’s go over three Toronto Raptors who will dominate and help lead their team in the playoffs.

3. Kyle Lowry – 34 years old – PG

2019-20 stats – 19.7 PPG – 4.8 RPG – 7.7 APG – .417 FG% – .354 3P% – .861 FT%

At my number three spot, I have the backbone to this Toronto Raptors team, Kyle Lowry. Despite entering his mid-30s Lowry is still playing some great basketball and helping lead this Raptors team to great success with his time being here.

Throughout the 2019-20 season, we’ve seen Kyle Lowry put the team on his back, literally… in situations like the game against the Dallas Mavericks where they overcame a 30 point deficit, as well as times where he wasn’t the greatest on the offensive side of things but was always the best or at least one of the best on the defensive side of things.

Lowry was averaging close to 20 PPG along with almost 8 APG and I truly think with the Toronto Raptors coming back healthy and having this much time off it will benefit each and every player especially the leader of this team.

Having a starting lineup probably of Lowry, VanVleet, Anunoby, Siakam, and either Gasol or Ibaka is very dangerous for many, many teams in the league and it’ll truly showcase their elite scoring ability as well as their amazing defensive game with players on the court like Lowry, Anunoby, and Gasol. (Stats from NBA.com)
