The Boston Celtics Road Block, NOV 12TH.

There’s no familiar faces or bad blood between the Celtics and Raptors. The East is in disarray with stars moving to the West and the Kyrie Irving trade request that could derail the Cleveland Cavaliers hopes of making the Finals. It is clearly the best moment for a new contender to dethrone the King and Raptors are a big contestant. The Celtics say otherwise, and have made it clear that they are going all out for a championship this season and have their eyes set on the prize.
The Celtics loom as the Raptors’ biggest roadblock in the east besides the Cavaliers. They drafted Jayson Tatum who is said to have the potential of a future NBA star. They also signed Gordon Hayward to pair up with Isaiah Thomas, with both coming off one of their best seasons in the NBA. The Celtics may have lost Avery Bradley and Kelly Olynyk but still have enough talent and depth to make a huge playoff run this season. If the Raptors hope to make the NBA finals anytime soon, then the Celtics should be more of a threat than the Cavs at this point, simply because their future is brighter than most NBA teams.
