Yes… and No

Should Terrence Ross be traded? Yes. Does he need to be traded? No. As much Ross’s play has been underwhelming this season, he hasn’t been so bad that he needs to be traded, simply for the sake of being traded. If the team were somehow able to get a veteran player that is a capable defender and can stretch the floor (God knows we don’t have enough shooters) I would trade Ross without any hesitation. Replacing Terrence with an experienced veteran (Wilson Chandler interests, for example) would do wonders for this team and their playoff hunt.

The problem is that Ross doesn’t present enough value for the Raptors to be able to acquire a player that can help the team. In a perfect world, I would like to see the Raptors trade Ross. But, unless Masai can pull off another miracle trade, Terrence Ross should stay in a Raptors uniform.
