MID-SUMMER REPORT – NBA’s CENTRAL DIVISION
The Central Division puts the power in Power Rankings. This is where the big boys hang out, and from where the Eastern Conference champion is expected to emerge. Three of last season’s top six teams in the Conference play here. If the Toronto Raptors are going to enjoy a solid season, and a return to the playoffs, they will need to break even against this bunch.
As before, we’ll rank the five teams in reverse order, so the team I expect to win the Division will be covered last. Don’t expect a Win-Loss prediction; it’s way too early.
