MILWAUKEE BUCKS

Say Hello to: Greg Monroe, Rashad Vaughn, Greivis Vasquez

Farewell: Jared Dudley, Ersan Ilyasova

’14-’15 record: 41-41

Fast rebuilds can work, on rare occasions. This is one of them. A Bucks team which suffered through a 15-win season just two years ago should be capable of repeating its surprising playoff appearance of last year. Jabari Parker, a highly regarded rookie forward who blew out his knee, has made a full recovery, so it’s claimed. If he’s truly ready to go, this young and talented team looks very solid.

Giannis Antetokounmpo returns to bedevil live-game announcers and defenders with his assortment of skills. Impossibly long for such a mobile man, he should be an All-Star candidate. Michael Carter-Williams and Khris Middleton can score. Monroe and our beloved Greivis will help them. The team runs ten players deep, and coach Jason Kidd has showed he can move the chess pieces with success. If there are holes as a result of the rebuild’s speed, I can’t find them.
