Norman Powell: Summer League First Team
Our 2015 second-round draft pick out of UCLA was busy making some noise out in Las Vegas. Announced on July 19th were the first and second All-NBA Vegas Summer League Teams. After averaging 18.3 points and 4.3 rebounds per game, Powell was selected to the first All-NBA VSL team.

New Look Logo
The new look Raptors logo is still getting mixed reviews at this point of the off-season. Personally the red, white and black colour scheme doesn’t do it for me. What does though is the purple and white look created by “Lowry7,” over at r/TorontoRaptors. Lowry7’s design with DeMar DeRozan is mint. I’ve always been a fan of the purple Raptors jerseys, so the purple and white colour scheme on the new logo works for me. What do you think?
Created by redditor "Lowry7" the new look logo doesn't look that bad in purple and white. I really dig it! pic.twitter.com/LyvB0lyLDG

New Jerseys Leaked?
A collection of new 2015-16 NBA alternative jerseys were leaked and shared at r/NBA. More importantly though is that new Toronto Raptors jerseys are included in the leak. My initial reaction was “meh.” Nothing bold or out of the ordinary. Take a look…

A side from the LA Clippers, the new identity team jerseys are great. Milwaukee, Philly and Atlanta nailed it! pic.twitter.com/BGlTXMqFkZ

Drake, Cojo, The 6
“I get a ring and I bring it home like I’m Cory Jo” – Drake
Cory Joseph hasn’t even played a single game for the Raptors and he’s already getting name dropped in Drake’s tracks! Respect!

At some point, the Raptors need to add Drake name drops to their free agent pitch.
Just announced yesterday was Cory Joseph‘s number change. The Canadian guard will now be rocking the number 6 in a Raptors uniform. It’s only makes sense right!
Got to be Number 6, now need a new avatar... help me out! #WeTheNorth

So here is a slick design created by “source24designs” at r/TorontoRaptors. Now, those possible new look Drake Raptors jerseys are something I can get behind. A must buy in my opinion.

Pan-Am Basketball: Team Canada
Even though the gold medal match didn’t pan out as we wanted it too, our staff writer, Lindsay Dunn was able to relish in the Pan-Am festivities. Lindsay was at both the semi-final and final of the Pan-Am Men’s Basketball tournament.
That was one intense basketball game. Can't wait to watch #teamcanada go for gold on Sat. @CanBball #WeAreTeamCanada pic.twitter.com/QfnUqJYiSH

How The Raptors Were Built
Bobby Marks, this summer’s basketball twitter star, tweeted an infographic on how all 30 teams in the NBA were built. The Toronto Raptors’ avenue of acquiring players under Masai Uriji involves both the draft and the free agency market. Take a look
