Toronto surrendered Rasho Nesterovic, T.J. Ford and Maceo Baston, plus their #17 pick in the upcoming draft, for Indiana’s veteran power forward Jermaine O’Neal.

Analysis: While I liked the deal at the time, everyone in the Raps’ camp knew of O’Neal’s wonky knee. Jermaine did his best during his relatively short stint, but wasn’t missed when he was moved to Miami the following year. The players we gave up weren’t great, but Nesterovic and Ford were in the rotation.

Result: The Pacers’ pick acquired from the Raps was used to select Roy Hibbert.
