Another mega-complex trade involving 4 teams resulted in the Raptors acquiring Hedo Turkoglu, Devean George and Antoine Wright, while giving up Kris Humphries, Shawn Marion and Nathan Jawai.
Analysis: Turkoglu arrived in Toronto as big news, and needed police protection to depart the city unharmed after some of the worst performances I’ve ever seen from a supposed star. The other two players quickly passed from the scene. Meanwhile, The Hump is still pulling down rebounds in Washington, and Marion helps the Cavaliers. So, for two quality rotation players, we acquired a migraine headache and a pair of fringe guys. Nicely done, BC!
Result: Disappointment and disillusionment
