Fan favourite Morris Peterson (affectionately nicknamed ‘Mo Pete’) has always had a special place in the hearts of Toronto Raptors fans for his lovable demeanour and commitment to Toronto. Last season, he was honoured by the Raptors during the team’s 20th anniversary celebrations. A video was played to remind fans of all the ridiculous plays he made as a Raptor.

Mo Pete was more than a steady contributor in Toronto during his best years. He was the luckiest player I have ever seen step on a basketball court. He didn’t even need to see the basket, nor be anywhere near it to connect on a shot. Standing tall or falling down, he made good on many unlikely attempts.
