As far as coaching changes go, the Raptors sure did get lucky. A coaching staff makeover in both Chicago and Oklahoma City allowed the organization to swipe up a defensive coach from one of the better defensive teams in Andy Greer and an offensive coach from one of the better offensive teams in Rex Kalamian.
Don’t expect radical changes to the Raptors philosophy since head coach Dwane Casey still runs the show. Instead, look for the new coaches to put their wealth of experience to work and help create a better balanced offence and defence. A great example of this should come in how Jonas Valanciunas will be utilized.
