The Toronto Raptors have two all-star players on their roster; and specifically in the back-court. DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry are both one-time all-stars and are both making incredibly strong cases to represent the team at the all-star game.

DeMar DeRozan started the year decently but has shown the incredible player he can be in December. In 12 games this festive month, DeRozan has averaged 25 points, nearly 5 rebounds and 4 assists per game on 47% shooting. He gets his points on only 18 shots per game while going to the line 8 times and hitting 86% of his free throws. He is ranked 5th this month in PPG while being the 4th most efficient in the top 20.

Kyle Lowry on the other hand has been the motor that makes the team go. Although slowing down the last couple weeks, he still is averaging 21 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds per game on the season. He is a fan favourite, he’s tough as nails, and has his an incredible nose for the ball. There’s not much to hate about Lowry as he is one of the elite guards in the league.
