4. Gag Gift – Three Team Blockbuster (Hornets, Nuggets)

You know those infamous gag gifts. The ones where you end up wondering to yourself, “What the heck were they thinking?” That’s what this proposal is in a nutshell. The only way a deal like this one comes about is if all the GMs involved just decided to blow things up for the hell of it, á la Philadelphia’s Sam Hinkie.

The Deal:

This one is so convoluted, I won’t spend too much time on it. However, for Toronto, it gives the team a viable option on the off chance DeRozan chases big money in the offseason. Charlotte gains a top rated scoring talent in DeMar, and who knows what’s going on in Denver these days.

In the end, we won’t have to worry about this one happening any time soon.
