As we discussed last time, the Raptors are on the cusp of being an elite team, and should be looking to take that next big step forward. The real burning question is: Will Masai Ujiri make the moves necessary to win now? Should the Raptors even make a move since they’re doing so well? The short answer is yes as they are in need of a power forward upgrade. Ujiri, the ever calculating and savvy General Manager of the Raptors, will need to be creative and willing to surrender draft picks should he want to propel his team past the likes of the Cleveland Cavaliers for the top spot in the East and a potential Easter Conference Finals matchup between the two teams.
