Autumn is just around the corner, which means it’s time to forecast the upcoming NBA season. Here’s my first of six slideshows spotlighting every division.

Before every NBA season, Your Correspondent takes a long look around the league and tries to figure out which teams are the ones to beat. I’ve done so again, and we’ll kick off our 2016-17 season forecast with a look at the Western Conference’s Southwest Division.

Rest assured I’ve done my homework, and cross-checked my math. There are 1, 230 wins and losses to be dealt with, and the Southwest is going to get more than its shares of the Ws.

Here we go, with the Division’s worst team through to its best.
