5 Raptors beloved by fans for their hard work

When you think of the most popular players to ever a Raptors jersey one name would be on everybody’s list, Jerome Williams.

Better known by his nickname, “Junk Yard Dog,” Williams spent parts of four seasons in Toronto. Though not known for his statistical contributions, JYD averaged career-highs in points and rebounds during his tenure with the Raptors.

Fans responded to his all-out effort on the court. He dove into the stands to save loose balls and had a willingness to do the dirty work. The Raptors have even brought him back to be a community representative for the organization.
