Starting Small Forward: Jerome Williams

A list of all time beloved Raptors would not feel legitimate if it did not include the Junkyard Dog.

This is a guy that made a living from making energy and winning plays. JYD would get underneath the skin of opposing teams through his effort and grit. He was always the first one to the loose ball.

Williams had a knack for rebounding and defense and could out-rebound larger players with his timing and and lower body strength.

The gritty forward could also defend larger players with his nose for the ball and quick hands. JYD was the unsung hero of Raptors basketball following the turn of the century.

His passion for the game made him the favorite player of many die-hard Raptor fans, despite his numbers being modest.
