- DeMar DeRozan – He’s the best mid-range scorer at his position in the NBA. Is that the same as being called the best buggy-whip manufacturer? Perhaps, but if DD spends his summer learning how to shoot from further out, all the criticism directed his way will fall away.
- Norman Powell – C’mon Norman. Your future has arrived. It’s time to push your way into the rotation.
Conclusion: This is a solid pairing, but there’s not enough 3-point shooting. I’d be very pleased if DeMar proved me wrong. The lack of depth is worrisome.
