Two-time NBA champion Steph Curry will add to his already impressive resume this weekend when he will compete in his first professional golf event. Picturing any member of the Raptors on the golf course is a challenge so we’ll run down what other sports the Raptors could compete in against professionals.

Steph Curry is a Four-time NBA All-Star, Two-time Most Valuable Player and a Two-time NBA champion. He’s won two gold medals at the World Basketball Championships and has led the NCAA and NBA in individual scoring.

You can now call Curry a professional golfer.

Curry is a three-handicap and will put his skills to the test against professional golfers in a sanctioned pro golf tournament.

Curry will compete on the Web.com Tour in the Ellie Mae Classic in California.

He was granted a one-time exemption to play on the Web.com tour which is the gateway to the PGA Tour.

In terms of basketball, the Web.com Tour is basically what the G League is. Many players who’ll be competing against Curry have played on the PGA Tour and in some of the most prestigious tournaments in the world of golf.

Curry told ESPN.com

"“The cut would be—if I can just give myself a chance, like go into Friday with a realistic chance to make it—that would be amazing,” He added, ”I want to know what that adrenaline rush is like, because for me, that would be like winning the tourney.”"

With Curry competing in a professional golf event, we came up with some ideas for other professional sports that members of the Toronto Raptors could compete in.

Lucas Nogueira – Soccer. He’s Brazilian for starters so its safe to assume he’s kicked the ball around a few times in his life. Tell me you cant’t already hear one of those Spanish soccer commentators making this call, “Neymar with the cross to Noguiera, GOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAALLLLLL!”

DeMar DeRozan – Formula One Racing. Most of the pro F1 drivers have really cool sounding names so DeMar would be a natural sounding fit racing through the streets of Monaco.

Fred VanVleet – Golf. VanVleet could be a great name for a golfer. Picture the golf announcer whispering in an English accent on the 18th hole at Augusta in The Masters final round. “VanVleet with an 18-foot putt for birdie……..”

Norman Powell – Sailing. Powell has the perfect name for the captain of a yacht that would compete in the America’s Cup. I’m just not sure the sailors outfit is a good look for Powell.

Jonas Valanciunas – Professional Lumberjacking. As long as he wears some plaid, Jonas has the size and the look that he would not be out of place competing against the worlds best lumberjacks. He couldn’t be a golfer because he already struggles with making a 12-foot jump shot so it’s difficult to imagine he could sink a 12-foot putt for birdie under pressure.

Next: Matter of time before the Raptors have a home grown superstar.
