The Raptors will kick off the season by facing the Chicago Bulls on October 19 at the Air Canada Centre.
After losing Jimmy Butler this off season to the Timber Wolves, Chicago will look to rebuild and will have to begin by facing Toronto on the road.
We hope that Toronto’s “Culture Reset” will have been largely completed at this point of the season.

It will be interesting to see how Jonas Valanciunas is used along with Norm Powell and Delon Wright. Will Bruno Caboclo get a look?

Three games into the season, the Raps head west for their longest road trip of the year.
They’ll have a six game swing that features Golden State, San Antonio, Denver and Portland. If Toronto finishes this Western swing with a record of 3-3 it should be considered a success.
Heck, with this line up a 2-4 record would be considered a success.
Don’t expect an impressive win-loss record in the first 10 games of 2017/2018.
November 12 is the first meeting between Toronto and the Boston Celtics who are the presumed successor as second best in the East to Lebron James and the Cavaliers.
Toronto visits Boston and the line up of Gordon Hayward, Al Horford and Isaiah Thomas and the latest version of the Celtics .
Look for Kyle Lowry and DeMar Derozen to try and assert their dominance as the best players on the court against the Celtics. This is going to be a test for both teams and look for it to be a rough and tumble affair.
Canadian fans can ring in the New Year on the couch watching the Raptors play the Milwaukee Bucks on January 1,
Gannis Antetokounmpo nearly ruined the Raptors playoff parade last year and it will be interesting to see how the ACC crowd treats him in his return.
On January 11, 2018, Cleveland will visit Toronto and the Raps will get their first kick at the can against the defending Eastern Conference champs.
With Kyrie Irving’s trade request made public and the departure of David Griffin, the Cavs have never looked so unsettled since the return of the King.
This is a tough stretch of the schedule for the Raps because two nights after facing Cleveland, they’ll get to square off against Golden State at home on January 13.
The Warriors spent their off season re-signing the two best shooters in the NBA and adding Nick Young to one of the most deadliest offences in NBA history.
This game will be a good measuring stick to see whether the Raptors defence will be able to stop or even slow down the Warriors.
The NBA All-Star break runs from Feb 15 to 22 for the Raptors.
The Greek Freak and his Milwaukee Bucks come to the Tdot to open the second half of the season on Feb 23.
Toronto fans can catch the return of Patrick Patterson and Russell Westbrook on Sunday March 18, 2018 as the Thunder visit Hogtown.
For now, we look forward to training camp and the return of media day as the summer slowly rolls into fall.
