The NBA season kicks off in Toronto against some new faces on the Chicago Bulls. It’s finally a chance to see the retooled Raptors roster in action. Not only is it the season opener for the Raptors, but it’s against the Bulls who have won 11 straight games against the Raptors since 2013. The Raptors were able to squeeze out an overtime 122-120 victory last season against the Bulls but still have a pretty embarrassing record.

The Bulls are in an awkward rebuilding stage now; Jimmy Butler was a nightmare to Raptors fans with his monster performances the past couple of years against them. He was traded for the Bulls hopeful future in Zach LaVine, KrIs Dunn and Lauri Markkanen. This gives DeMar DeRozan much more freedom to create his offense without the defensive presence of Butler. Dwyane Wade is reportedly close to a buyout with the Bulls. Can the Bulls still have that same dominance over the Raptors they once had?
