7 Raptors Games that are MUST WATCH for fans
A piece in Oklahoma City Thunder, DEC 27TH.
The Raptors face off against the Thunder in Oklahoma City with a familiar face in Patrick Patterson. Despite the criticism against Patterson not being a reliable option, injuries and failing to show up in the playoffs last year, Patterson is an asset the Raptors will miss. Per 100 possessions in the past two seasons, the Toronto Raptors were 10 points better with Patterson on the floor. His plus/minus only trailed Kyle Lowry. He was also one of the Raptors best defenders, and with P.J. Tucker leaving to Houston, Raptors suffer a blow to their defensive game. The Raptors cut his minutes and Patterson was not happy, skipping his exit interview. it was clear Patterson thought his talents would be useful somewhere else and will have something to prove.
Besides seeing a former player in blue, there’s a lot more to look forward to. Raptors will have to take on the reigning MVP Russell Westbrook after his historic record-setting triple double season. They’ll also have to adjust their game plan due to OKC’s recently acquired threat, Paul George.
