The Raptors have two games against the Bucks previous to this date but this date is a little more significant. The Raptors struggled against a Giannis Antetokounmpo led Milwaukee Bucks in the playoffs and managed to beat them for reasons such as Giannis exhausting himself and not having enough help on his team. There’s no doubt that one of the Bucks best players is Jabari Parker, who suffered another season-ending ACL injury before playoffs. He is expected to return after All-Star break but can he comeback and still be the player they desperately need, and possibly improve?
The Bucks are a young team and you can expect a much larger role from guys like Rookie of the Year Malcom Brogdon and Thon Maker who seem to have a lot of potential. With a fully healthy Bucks team facing off against the Raptors, the outcome could be much different without Giannis having to take on such a huge offensive load. It’s the playoff rematch Bucks fans deserve to see and Raptors fans need to watch if Giannis manages to have his breakout MVP season that’s expected from him.
