The Toronto Raptors have one of the younger teams in the NBA heading into the start of the 2017-18 season with the average age of their roster being under the age of 25.
Having a younger team with plenty of talent is always a positive in any professional sport.
However, it doesn’t necessarily mean that team is going to have immediate success with that many young players on the roster.

11 of the 19 players on the Raptors current roster are under the age of 25.
The team only has two players who are 30 and older which include newly acquired CJ Miles (who is 30 years-old) and their all-star guard and team leader Kyle Lowry who is 31 years-old.
If you look at the average age of every team in the NBA it’s the oldest teams in the league that are expected to compete for the title heading into this season.
Cleveland is the oldest team in the league with an average age of 29.5 and are followed by the San Antonio Spurs who on average are 28 years-old.
The defending champion Golden State Warriors rank third at 27.8 with the Los Angeles Clippers and Dallas Mavericks tied for fourth at 26.5 and the Houston Rockets rounding out the top five at 26.3
