Toronto Raptors Summer League results:
The Toronto Raptors finished Summer League with a record of 2-4. Despite their sub-par record the team did find a couple of success stories in Malachi Richardson and Rawle Alkins.
On Monday the Toronto Raptors fell to 0-3, following a loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Toronto managed just 82 points and had only three players in double digits. You can checkout post-game grades here.
Next, the Raptors picked up their first win of Summer League defeating the Denver Nuggets by eight. OG Anunoby dropped 22 and looked dominant for the first time. Full post-game coverage can be found here.

Toronto continued their tournament play with a win over the Charlotte Hornets. With OG Anunoby taking the rest of the summer off, Rawle Alkins came to play scoring 25 points on 10-16 shooting. To read more about Alkins and his monster performance checkout here.
Staying consistent with the real NBA season, the Raptors were eliminated from the Summer League playoffs by the Cleveland Cavaliers. The team was only able to put up 68 in a loss. You can read more about the Cavaliers win here.
Malcolm Miller injures shoulder, loses qualifying offer:
One player who was not able to help the Raptors this summer league was Malcolm Miller. Miller had his shoulder dislocated in Monday’s contest against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Saturday the team decided to pull his qualifying offer. The two are likely unrelated as Miller’s injury was not severe enough for concern.
Nate Bjorken joins coaching staff:
Nick Nurse has found another piece for his 2019 coaching staff. The team has reportedly agreed to terms with Nate Bjorkgren, former player development coach for the Phoenix Suns. Bjorkgren was a part of Nurse’s staff at the Iowa Energy and is one of Nurse’s good friends.
