With the NBA right around the corner, fantasy leagues are also gearing up for their own season. We examine the top Toronto Raptors players and predict whether they will be better or worse than their projected fantasy rankings.
When it comes to playing fantasy, it is best to base your decisions off your head not your heart. But I digress. As diehard Toronto Raptors fans would agree, we’d all love to fill our teams with as many of our guys as we can find.
Thankfully, the Raptors are not only one of the best NBA teams in reality but also one of the best in fantasy. Up to six Raptors are ranked in the top-150 including four who could get drafted within the first six rounds of a standard 12-player league.
Based on this setup, it’s possible to draft four Raptors and still be a competent fantasy team.
But as with all projections, not everything is accurate. Some Raptors will overperform and destroy their projected ranking while some may fall short of expectations.
As fun as it would be to look at every Raptor, we limited this list to the five-highest ranked Raptors. But here is a quick rundown of the Raptors who didn’t make the cut and a quick rating on their ranking*:
- Pascal Siakam: 140 – Underrated
- Danny Green: 157 – Overrated
- Delon Wright: 170 – Just Right
- Greg Monroe: 212 – Overrated
- OG Anunoby: 215 – Just Right
- CJ Miles: 231 – Just Right
- Norman Powell: 311 – Underrated
