The Toronto Raptors had a hugely successful season which culminated in their first ever championship. How did every player grade over the course of the season though?

For the first time in franchise history, the Toronto Raptors are NBA Champions. The celebration is set to roll on for the rest of the summer.

In the meantime, we have begun to reflect on the season that was. It was a year full of ups and downs. Old faces were bid adieu too while new faces were welcomed to the team.

A report card has been written for each based on certain factors. Our grading system is broken into three categories:

  • Satisfying Expectations /10
  • Production Relative To Contract /10
  • Overall Output /10

Lastly, we cap every report card with a letter grade and a total out of 30.

Satisfying expectations and production relative to a contract are somewhat similar. Did the player meet the expectations of his position? Did the player match his production to his salary?

Overall output is based on a few factors. Did the player maintain a consistent level of production? What role did the player’s overall out play in team success?

The 2018-2019 Toronto Raptors will live forever in the NBA history books. They will be known as the team that dethroned the mighty Golden State Warriors. They will also be the first Canadian team to win an NBA championship.

It still feels surreal to say that the Raptors are NBA Champions. The impact of their victory is just beginning to set in. This feels like a monumental achievement for all of Canada.

How did everyone grade throughout the season? Did anyone miss the mark entirely and did anyone exceed all expectations?
