On the way to their first-ever NBA title victory, the Toronto Raptors featured in some barnstorming games during the regular season. What were the five best?

A dream come true season for the Toronto Raptors is well into the rearview mirror, but that doesn’t mean it’s to be left in the past. The Raptors put forward a season to remember, winning more than 50 games for the fourth consecutive season and earning the second seed in the Eastern Conference.

More than that, the Toronto Raptors put their past playoff woes to bed, defeating the Orlando Magic, Philadelphia 76ers, Milwaukee Bucks, and the Golden State Warriors in succession and wrapped up their first-ever NBA title in the process.

The road to get to the point was tough. An arduous 82-game season took its toll, injuries piled up, trades were made, and moments of greatness were cast. Thankfully, for the Raptors, it was all worth it in the end.

And, really, there were so special moments along the way. Especially in the playoffs. From Kawhi Leonard’s four-bounce Game 7 buzzer-beater to eliminate the Sixers to Pascal Siakam’s near-perfect Game 1 in the NBA Finals, the road was paved with historic moments for the Raptors.

The Raptors won 58 games in the regular season, the second-best single-season win total in franchise history, trailing only the previous season. The 2018-19 regular season had it all, though.

It took a while for the Raptors to truly find their feet, which happened once the team acquired Marc Gasol from the Memphis Grizzlies in February, but even before then the Raptors were accountable for playing some terrific basketball.

The champions of the most exciting sports league in the world, the Toronto Raptors took part in some incredible games during the regular season. What were the five best Raptors games from the 2018-19 regular season?
