Los Angeles Clippers

After one spectacular season with the Toronto Raptors, Kawhi Leonard left the team in free agency to join up with Doc Rivers and the Los Angeles Clippers. Although, he didn’t come alone.

For Leonard to make the conscious decision to spend the remaining years of his prime with the Clippers, they would need to overhaul their roster to bring another star. In Leonard’s mind, that star had to be Paul George.

George is coming off an MVP caliber season where he finished third in the voting, behind Giannis and James Harden. The threat of these two incredible two-way wings is a nightmare for the NBA – and they could well be the best duo in the league.

Aside from Leonard and Geroge, the Clippers have a dogged group of players who are known for their grittiness, and ability to defend – with players like Patrick Beverley and Montrezl Harrell cropping up in big moments.

Even their depth is impressive. The Clippers will be able to call on Sixth Man of the Year, Lou Williams off the bench, along with a rising star in Landry Shamet. This team is not only going to defend hard, but they are also going to put up points.

As of now, the Clippers remain favourites with a lot of betting companies, and rightly so. Kawhi Leonard will be looking to win his third NBA title with a third team, and maybe even another Finals MVP in the process.
