Toronto Raptors Fantasy Basketball: Who should you target?
Quick Takes:
Fred VanVleet:
Steady Freddie will see some an uptick in court time, as and aging Kyle Lowry is rested for longer stretches throughout the season.
He should continue to be a low-end PG for fantasy purposes. At pick 96, you’ll get what you expect.
Verdict: Safe Pick
OG Anunoby:
Projected at player 160, being drafted behind other SFs such as Kyle Anderson and Pat Connaughton, OG is high-upside pick worth a late-round flier.
Always touted to have elite upside, OG could be the biggest beneficiary of the extra looks and playing time. A cheap draft investment, OG could become a league winning pick if he follows Pascal’s footsteps and plays to his potential.
Verdict: Draft Aggressively
Normal Powell/Rondae Hollis-Jefferson/Stanley Johnson
This three-headed monster of a young wing rotation will benefit from Danny Green‘s departure and will be a formidable real-life trio with high upside defensively.
There is an opportunity for one of them to step up and seize serious minutes, but at this point, the picture is murky at best.
For fantasy purposes, any of the three are draft-able as stashes, but will not contribute meaningful stats barring injuries to other key players.
Verdict: Do Not Draft
