1. LeBron James & Anthony Davis

It’s a toss-up between the two L.A. teams for who has the best duo in the NBA, but the number one spot belongs to the Los Angeles Lakers and their brand-new duo of LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

James joined the team in free agency a year ago but wasn’t able to lead the Lakers to the postseason in his first year, and thus the overhaul of the Lakers roster began. The Lakers front office traded away Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart and picks to acquire Anthony Davis from the New Orleans Pelicans.

Now, the Lakers have, potentially, their best duo since Shaq and Kobe. James is arguably the greatest NBA players of all-time, while Davis is still only 26 years old and still yet to find his peak. In the Lakers minds, pairing the two together could unlock that next level. A fair estimation.

Davis has an All-World facilitator beside him in James, while LeBron gets a young big who could go down as one of the most dominant players in the game if he puts it all together.

The Lakers might struggle for overall depth, but playing Davis and James beside each other on a nightly basis is enough to down any opponent.
