Marc Gasol – 82 Overall

Marc Gasol’s great summer didn’t do much in terms of upping his rating. In fact, he’s declined since 2K19. This year he’s tied with Deandre Ayton, Myles Turner and Steven Adams for the 10th highest rated centre in the league.

Jusuf Nurkic and Clint Capela are both ranked ahead of him… Safe to say he should be rated higher.

Notable Attributes

Post moves – 88

For a big man, post moves are obviously important to be good at. No matter the defender, Gasol is going to be able to put work in and have a good chance of getting the ball in the hoop. When playing with him, backing down defenders is a very safe bet.

Three-Point Shot (80)

This rating makes Gasol one of the highest-rated three-point shooters on the Raptors. To go along with his efficiency in the paint, his three-point accuracy makes him a super versatile big man on offence.

Hands – 94

Just like with Lowry, Gasol’s got smooth hands in this game. As a big man, good hands are important for catching alley-oops and passes in a busy paint.

Pass Vision – 71

Gasol’s vision is much much higher than the average centre, but it should be. In the past 10 years, he’s the only player seven feet or taller who’s averaged 7 assists or more with less than 3.5 turnovers per 36 minutes. Just saying…

Serge Ibaka – 80 Overall

Serge Ibaka has been hanging around 80 overall since getting traded to Toronto. If there’s one year his rating should go up, it’s this one. His per 36 numbers were the best of his career in points, rebounds and assists.

Notable Attributes

Close Shot – 95

Ibaka took a ton of shots within five feet last year and made them at 72.6-percent so his impeccable rating makes sense. Get the ball to him anywhere near the basket, and you’ll get two points.

Mid-Range Shot – 92

Ibaka’s mid-range game has been a little overrated. He was making them at a good percent last season but, 92 is incredibly high. That rating is better than DeMar DeRozan, Kawhi Leonard, and Klay Thompson. However, his combination of close and mid-range game makes an effective scorer in most situations.

Intangibles – 98

One of the reasons Ibaka has been such a good defender throughout his career is the intangibles. Another guy you don’t have to worry about when you’re not playing as him.
