Norman Powell – 74 Overall

Norman Powell’s 2K build is reliant on his athleticism. He’s not as fast or as strong as a guy like Hollis-Jefferson but matches up well to others in his position. His overall is a little low, but not enough to make a fuss. His figure is one that will definitely increase over the season.

Notable Attributes

Close Shot – 89

For being a small guy, Powell’s solid at hitting close-shots. Getting in tight to the basket is the best use of his skills. On-ball, he’s not rated well, so using him off-ball is most effective.

Driving Dunk – 75

For a guy who only threw down only 20 dunks last year, a 75 is respectable. Having good dunk and close-shot ratings make it clear where the best place to use him is. On top of that, it’s always fun to play with a guy who can dunk.

Perimeter Defence – 79

When looking at Powell’s defensive rating alone, it seems low. However, when you compare it to guys like Lowry and VanVleet, it makes sense. Both of those guys are better at defending the perimeter than Powell and should be rated higher.

Stanley Johnson – 73 Overall

Unfortunately, Stanley Johnson is not the best “video game guy”. The default offensive set up for 2K is the wings standing around the three-point line and, that’s not where he succeeds.

Notable Attributes

Close Shot – 89

This is his best offensive attribute. He’s big enough to get inside on smaller guys but doesn’t really have a high enough rating for speed or ball-handling to get around people for layups or dunks. Find a way to get there, and you’ll be happy with the results.

Offensive Consistency – 40

I’m not exactly sure what this rating means, but being rated this low can’t be a good thing. The chances of you getting hot with Johnson are very low unless you’re playing on rookie mode.
