5. Terence Davis

Terence Davis was a tough player to put on here. Mainly because Raptors fans, including myself, aren’t totally well versed in all things Terence Davis.

However, that can make for a good night.

Davis is one of the younger players on the team at just 22 years old, which means he’s closer to my age (20 years old) than most guys. If you know a thing or two about the younger crowd, they tend to let loose a little more than the more seasoned guys.

On top of that, he was in college for a whole four years at Ole Miss, therefore, he’s definitely got some experience in the partying department. Despite him and I having fairly different life experiences, he’ll have a decent understanding of the university life I’m currently living in.

There are some obvious differences in our lives. The biggest being that Davis is a professional basketball player getting paid just under a million dollars while I’m still in school trying to learn how to break into the world of sports media.

Regardless, I’ll have more in common with him than most players in the NBA. Even if it really isn’t that much.

A potential huge upside to partying with Davis would be that you’d automatically be part of the “Terence Davis Hive”. He’s gained a decent following in the small sample size that’s been the Raptors pre-season games. Including a vicious dunk against the Houston Rockets.

Getting in on that hype early can lend some bragging rights with a certain group of friends.

Davis isn’t a household name at the moment so people wouldn’t be stopping him all the time like they would to a Serge Ibaka or Pascal Siakam.
