Welcome back to the third edition of Trash-talk: A Toronto Raptors gossip column! Here we discuss everything that happened with the Toronto Raptors outside the actual game of basketball.

Week 2 came and went and the Toronto Raptors are in the middle of the Eastern Conference playoff race with a 4-2 record. While it’s a little early to look at the playoffs, it seems that the team benefitted from a long-winded playoff run and has turned that into fuel for this year.

But, this isn’t a column to discuss those things, I’ll leave that to my counterparts tackling game grades, recaps, and takeaways. This here is for all those looking to get something from the Toronto Raptors except… basketball.

As always, we want you, the reader, to feel involved! If you spot any spiciness on Twitter or if you had a goofy in-game moment cross your timeline, then please feel free to tag @RaptorsRapture or @HughesWithMe on Twitter. As well, feel free to directly message us if something seems extra, extra hilarious or you have photographs or video to share directly.

This week we’re going to revisit some of the spooky costumes that the Toronto Raptors donned for Halloween, a very good journalistic question by Serge Ibaka to Tiffany Haddish, Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated joining the Pascal Siakam for MVP train, and a bonus round that has actually nothing to do with the Toronto Raptors, but I would be remiss if I didn’t cover it.

All in all, it was a relatively quiet week for the Toronto Raptors, which means either A) it is only the second week of basketball so they are still figuring out their bearings or B) they have matured beyond their years and they will quietly have a solid season without much media backlash.

Oh my, please let it be option A.

Without further ado, onto this week’s edition of Trash-Talk!
