Kyle Lowry: “Come see me!”
Kyle Lowry is a bulldog, both on and off the court it seems. After the game against Philadelphia on Sunday, Lowry was seen after the game talking back to a fan that had seemingly said some not-so-nice things. Somebody tell Santa Claus to get that guy on the naughty list.
Kyle Lowry, exiting into the tunnel after loss, responds to heckling fan:

“Come see me!” About 7 times. Restrained by teammate (lightly).
“I live at 20th and Lehigh. Come see me!”#Raptors#Sixers
Afterward, Lowry was asked about the squabble in the locker room. Lowry had seemingly calmed down and he had this to say:
Lowry on this exchange post-game: "I don’t know. He was talking too much. I don’t know him but he ain’t worth my time...I don’t care. It’s Philadelphia. I respect it. I love it. When I come home, if they still have a problem they can come find me." https://t.co/tnoKVyk8B9

Of course, Philadelphia just reeks of a place that would get upset at Kyle Lowry even after the 76ers came away with a win. Yet, personally, I love that Lowry supposedly yelled his home address in Philly. I like to imagine that after the game he waited impatiently for the fan to show up and fight just for 20 adoring children to show up and ask for his autograph. If anyone knows Lowry, then you know he’d happily oblige.
Lowry wasn’t the only member of the team that grew up in Pennsylvania, however. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is from Chester, Pennsylvania, which is only a short car ride away from Philly.
(Yes, I had to look that up.)
After the game, Hollis-Jefferson cryptically tweeted to someone out there:
I got Men and Women that won’t even say hi in my own city.. that’s wack. I don’t do shit but love y’all and try to help.

I’m not quite sure what Philly was up to on Sunday, but they certainly could have used another lesson about forgiveness. Perhaps, though, the sting of losing to Toronto last year still lingers deeply. Perhaps, they’re just hoping that Ben Simmons will shoot threes as his coach has asked.
Whatever the case, I’m cheering for the rivalry to only heat up even more because these two teams are gunning for the same thing this year: Pride. So, Philly, if you’re not going to recognize two of your best basketball players, then we’ll gladly employ them north of the border.
