The only other player to play a decent game against the Kawhi Leonard and the Clippers was Pascal Siakam. The team overall just did not look ready to compete in this matchup so this performance, unfortunately, did not help the outcome much.

Siakam started off slow on the scoring end as he only had three points in the first quarter but assisted on five points. But just as the Clippers started to pull away, Siakam did everything in his power to bring the game back close. He ended the second quarter with six points, pushing his total to nine but the Raptors were getting blown out at halftime.

However, just like Powell, Siakam was looking to take the fight to the Clippers in the second half. He scored six points in the third quarter and assisted on three Raptors points. Siakam then continued to pour it on and scored another nine points in the fourth. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough as the Clipper took care of business in Toronto.

Even though this was a poor performance by the team, it is encouraging to see Siakam still performing under these bright lights and against such a star-studded defensive unit. There is room for improvement from Siakam but he continues to prove that he is ready to take on the responsibility of being the first option on offense.
