Milwaukee Bucks: We like to resolve our differences by imitating wrestling antics in our pregame.

I’m sure you have seen, but the Milwaukee Bucks have been killing its opponents. Despite the loss on Monday to the Dallas Mavericks, they have won 18 of the last 19 overall. They have been pummeling opponents as their net differential leads the league at a dismantling plus-12.9 after the game against Dallas.

It feels as if every time they have a small setback — with an injury or untimely play — they fill the void with an impressive attack led by big man Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Within all the winning, they have also started a tradition in the pregame that is becoming more and more outrageous: They imitate pro wrestling moves against each other.

What I thought was a one-game show has turned into several nights of watching these Bucks pummel each other prior to pummeling their opponents. Perhaps some of the team frustrations are being battled beforehand à la Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

Here is an example:

I suppose if I were crushing other teams, then I, too, would be looking for other ways to keep myself entertained with the grind.

Yet, undoubtedly, I think the most entertaining thing about these imitations is imagining how nervous the training staff of the Milwaukee Bucks must be. Seriously! Rewatch the clip with Wesley Matthews, he jumps four or five feet into the air before protecting himself on the way down with his leg.

Do the Toronto Raptors need to find time for Chris Boucher?. dark. Next

If a Bucks player got accidentally injured because of something like this, opposing fans would have a field day laughing at the schadenfreude. I have to believe that the training staff have chewed their nails down to the bone and have collectively discovered a newfound faith in prayer because of this behavior.

But for sheer entertainment purposes, I’m all here for it.
