After leading the Raptors to a 30 point comeback win against the Mavericks, Lowry was asked to put on a similar show the next night against the Indiana Pacers on the road.

The Raptors were visibly tired heading into this one as they were down by 11 points after the first quarter with Lowry producing six points and one assist in that frame. It was more of the same in the second quarter as Lowry and the Raptors were just unable to get it going in the first half. Lowry went scoreless in the second quarter but was able to contribute two assists as the team was down by 10 points at halftime.

The second half, however, was a completely different story. The Raptors and Kyle Lowry finally woke up and took the fight to the Pacers. Lowry dropped 14 points in the third quarter to go along with five assists as the Raptors came back from 10 down to take a one-point lead heading into the fourth quarter. The Pacers, however, refused to let up though and took the fight right back to the Raptors in the fourth quarter. Even with Lowry’s eight points and one assist in the quarter, the game ended tied and overtime was needed to decide the final outcome. Unfortunately, the Raptors got cold at the worst time and ended up losing by five points as Lowry was only able to muster two points in overtime.

Even in a loss, Lowry continues to show production that nobody expected from him at age 33. With all of the injuries, the Raptors have sustained this season, expect Lowry to continue to post monster lines on a nightly basis as the Raptors leader.
