Head Coach. Toronto Raptors. NICK NURSE. A-. Nick Nurse was great in this one, pressing all the right buttons as he dealt with the continued injury-related absences of four of his most important players. Nurse surprised everyone with the insertion of Terence Davis into the starting lineup and Davis responded with a big-time 23-point double-double. Nurse mixed in a zone defense to protect certain lineups with mixed success. He went to his bench unit, including <a rel=

15-25. Eastern Conference. CHARLOTTE HORNETS. A-. The Charlotte Hornets played a great game, led by the hot-shooting of Miles Bridges and the aggressive scoring effort from Terry Rozier. Bridges and Rozier combined for 53 points and their scoring was almost enough to make up for the terrible shooting night from leading scorer Devonte’ Graham. Hornets head coach James Borrego coached a great game, only using eight players but somehow getting his three-man bench unit to outplay the Raptors usually strong bench to a great extent. Despite the Raptors playing well, the Hornets were simply a missed Rozier 3-pointer away from snatching the win in OT.
