Moving into the second half of the season, what are the five biggest games left on the Toronto Raptors’ schedule?

Through the midway mark of the 2019-20 NBA season, we have to say: so far, so good for the Toronto Raptors, right? The team currently possesses the second-best record in the Eastern Conference at 31-14.

For the sixth season in a row, the Toronto Raptors are on course for a 50-plus win season and a fairly high seed in the playoffs. That should come as no surprise, no matter who is leading the team, the Toronto Raptors are always going to be a test for any team.

The first half of the season saw some highly entertaining games from the Toronto Raptors and some very, very impressive results that led to the team’s lofty position in the Eastern Conference. Wins against the Los Angeles Lakers – with a shorthanded team – and a 30-point comeback against the Dallas Mavericks – again, with a shorthanded team – highlighted the Raptors season up until this point.

The season isn’t over by a longshot, though. The Raptors still have another 37 games to go until the playoffs come around in April. That means there is still a lot of time left to change their record. It’s unlikely that anyone will be challenging the Milwaukee Bucks for the first seed but from 2-6, anything could happen with five hungry teams looking to battle it out.
