4. Kemba Walker

Boston Celtics or not, how good is it to see Kemba Walker finally on a winning team?

After eight maddening seasons with the Charlotte Hornets, Walker elected to make a career conscious decision and move to the Boston Celtics over the summer – becoming a direct replacement for Kyrie Irving, who joined the Brooklyn Nets.

So far, the results have been pretty promising for the Celtics and Walker. They sit fourth in the Eastern Conference with a record of 32-15, just a game and a half behind the Toronto Raptors in second, and half a game behind the Miami Heat in third.

While Walker’s numbers have dropped all across the board, his impact now correlates onto a winning team. He’s surrounded by quality players and is reaping the benefits. That’s not to say he isn’t a world-class player, though. Walker was voted into the All-Star Game for a reason.

In his first season as a member of the Boston Celtics, Walker is averaging 22.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game, shooting 44-percent from the field and 39-percent from three.

Walker deserves to be on a winning team, finally. He also deserves to be an All-Star. For the first time in his career, he’s now a starter.
