Head Coach and Opponent

B. Toronto’s bench boss rode his starters in this game, but Nick Nurse and the Raptors came up short in what was a measuring-stick game with the East-leading Bucks. The Raptors’ coach went with a tried-and-true rotation, the only difference being Matt Thomas for Patrick McCaw. McCaw remains out with the flu. He’ll never admit to it, but Nurse desperately wants Marc Gasol and Norman Powell back healthy (McCaw, while a nice piece, isn’t as integral to the team’s success as the other two). In time, Nurse will have a full complement of players available to him, though, that day appears to still be weeks away.. Head Coach. Toronto Raptors. NICK NURSE

B. Milwaukee took it to Toronto in the third quarter and outscored the hosts 34-19, but otherwise, the game was quite even. The Bucks connected on four fewer threes in the game than Toronto (18-14) but made twice as many free throws as the hosts (30-15) – another area Milwaukee was effective in against the Raptors was turnovers, finishing the game with only 13 and holding Toronto, the league’s second-best team in terms of stealing the basketball, to only four thefts. The Bucks, while not at their best, were still very good on Tuesday.. (50-8). Eastern Conference. MILWAUKEE BUCKS
